Chin filler adds shape and projection where the chin sits back, looks short, or is out of proportion with the nose, the lips and the jaw. Seen from the side it lengthens the profile and gives the jawline something to finish against. Seen from the front it balances the lower face. How much is used depends on the chin you start with, which is agreed at consultation rather than before it.

The filler itself is hyaluronic acid, the same material used across our dermal filler treatments, and it can be taken away again. Dissolving unwanted filler is on our treatment list at £100 for 30 minutes, whether the filler was placed here or somewhere else.

What happens on the day
Your consultation covers what you want to change, your facial proportions and your profile, your skin history and your medical history. Only then is anything injected.
The skin is cleansed and the filler is placed in small amounts in the chin, checked from the front and in profile as we go rather than at the end. The appointment is 30 minutes with minimal downtime, so you can return to your day.

The chin is a structural area, so proportion matters more than volume. We look at the jaw, the lips and your profile before deciding how much to place, and we would rather place a little and see you again than place too much on the day.
