What it is
A non-surgical nose job, sometimes called a liquid rhinoplasty, changes the way light falls on the nose rather than its structure. Filler placed above and below a bump can make the bridge read as a straighter line, a small amount at the base can lift a tip that points down, and an uneven line can be made to look more even. It does not make the nose smaller, and it does not change anything inside the nose or the way you breathe.

The nose is the most demanding area we treat, so whether this is the right treatment for your nose, and whether a surgical opinion is the better route, is decided at consultation. We will decline it where previous surgery, previous filler or the anatomy makes it unwise, and we will say why.
The filler is hyaluronic acid and it can be taken away again. Dissolving unwanted filler is on our treatment list at £100 for 30 minutes, whether the filler was placed here or somewhere else.

When it is not the answer
- A nose you want made smaller, which only surgery does
- A blocked nose or a breathing problem, which is a medical referral rather than an injectable
- A nose that has had surgery, or a great deal of filler already, where we may decline and say why
- Skin or scarring in the area that makes injecting unwise
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding, and active infection or inflamed skin in the treatment area
If a non-surgical nose job is not the right treatment for you, we will say so at consultation and suggest what is, including a surgical opinion where that is the right route.
What happens on the day
Your consultation covers what you want to change, your medical history, and any previous surgery or filler in the nose. It also covers whether this treatment or a surgical opinion is the right route for you. Only then is anything injected.
The skin is cleansed and very small amounts of filler are placed along the bridge or at the base of the tip, checked in profile and from the front as we go rather than at the end. The appointment is 30 minutes.
How the area settles over the days that follow, the aftercare for the rest of the day, and what to do if anything concerns you afterwards are all talked through in clinic before you leave.
Because the nose is the most demanding area we treat, the amount used is deliberately small and the plan is a conservative one. We would rather place a little and see you again than place too much on the day.

What does a non-surgical nose job do?
