What it is
Lip filler puts volume back into the lip and gives the border its edge again, so the lip reads fuller and better defined while the rest of the face is left alone. How much is used, and where it is placed, is decided at your consultation rather than before it.

The filler itself is hyaluronic acid, the same material used across our dermal filler treatments, and it can be taken away again. Dissolving unwanted filler is on our treatment list at £100 for 30 minutes, whether the filler was placed here or somewhere else.

What happens on the day
Your consultation includes a thorough assessment of your concerns, facial anatomy and goals. Together we agree a bespoke treatment plan, and only then is anything injected.
The lips are cleansed and the filler is placed in small amounts, with the shape checked as we go rather than at the end. Treatments typically take 15 to 30 minutes with minimal downtime, so you can return to your day.
How the lips settle over the days that follow, and the aftercare for the rest of the day, are talked through in clinic. A review appointment is offered so we can see how the treatment has settled.
Lips are the area people are most careful about, so we would rather place a little and see you again than place too much on the day. That is why 0.5ml sits on the list alongside 1ml, and why the review appointment matters.
